Seu fazer nasceu do desejo de ressignificar o que a natureza descarta e, ao mesmo tempo, ressignificar a si mesma. A transição profissional virou cura, e a cura virou caminho.
Alda Assis found her starting point in nature. Since 2011, she has transformed gourds, woods, seeds, bones, coités and horns into bio-accessories that carry history, texture and life. Her practice was born from the desire to give new meaning to what nature discards and, at the same time, to redefine herself. A professional transition became healing, and healing became her path.
Seu processo é inteiro artesanal: Alda coleta materiais em matas, áreas urbanas, fazendas e até nos quintais de amigos que compartilham sementes e galhos. O acabamento das peças é feito com ferramentas e equipamentos criados e adaptados pelo pai, em um ritual de precisão e carinho genuíno. Ela também garimpa matéria-prima com fornecedores locais de diferentes estados e apresenta suas criações em eventos no Brasil inteiro, na capital de Goiás e para clientes brasileiros que vivem no exterior, um público fiel que a acompanha há anos no varejo. Cada peça passa apenas por suas mãos, da pesquisa ao acabamento final.
Her entire process is handcrafted: Alda collects materials from forests, urban areas, farms and even from the backyards of friends who share seeds and branches. The finishing of each piece is done with tools and equipment created and adapted by her father, in a ritual of precision and genuine care. She also sources raw materials from local suppliers in different Brazilian states and presents her creations at events throughout Brazil, in the capital of Goiás, and to Brazilian clients living abroad — a loyal retail audience that has followed her work for years. Every piece passes exclusively through her hands, from research to the final finish.

O Farei Joias, idealizado por Adeguimar Arantes, foi o meio que lhe abriu acesso ao conhecimento técnico da joalheria, um campo que ampliou suas possibilidades, aprofundou seu repertório e acrescentou mais camadas de significado ao que já fazia com tanta autenticidade. Esse encontro transformou suas criações, que agora dialogam entre ecojoias e joalheria de arte, mantendo a assinatura de originalidade que a acompanha desde o início.

In recent years, Alda has brought all this experience into the realm of Brazilian art jewelry. Farei Joias, conceived by Adeguimar Arantes, was the gateway that gave her access to the technical knowledge of jewelry making, a field that expanded her possibilities, deepened her repertoire and added new layers of meaning to what she had already been doing with such authenticity.
